RiskViewTM Liens & Judgments Report

RiskViewTM Liens & Judgments Report from LexisNexis® contains the public filings Experian, Equifax and TransUnion removed from consumer credit reports.  The credit bureaus removed all civil judgments and the majority (50%+) of tax liens from consumer credit in July 2017 in accordance with Personal Identifying Information and revalidation standards implemented by the National Consumer Assistance Plan. The credit bureaus removed the remaining tax liens from credit reports in April 2018. The changes did not impact bankruptcies, which continue to be included in consumer credit reports.

The RiskViewTM report is FCRA-compliant and provides an accurate, efficient resolution to the public record gap, delivering the same information that clients have relied on for decades
to measure risk and determine ability-to-repay. Studies have proven that consumers with a lien or judgment record are twice as likely to default as consumers with no public record filings against them.

LexisNexis® is the industry leader in public record information utilizing superior linking technology that yielded a near perfect (99.75%) matching accuracy rate for liens & judgments in rigorous testing.  CIS clients can use the RiskViewTM report as an automatic addendum with every credit report or request the report individually on specific applicants.
